Hey guys! Recently he posted a recipe for carrot cake but didn’t show the recipe for the cream cheese frosting that went along with it. This frosting is creamy tangy and delicious. And it doesn’t have to be used for only my carrot cake. You can put it on red velvet cake, or anything you think needs a little tang! I hope you enjoy this recipe- I know I did!🙂
Cream Cheese Frosting recipe:
1 8-ounce package of cream cheese (room temperature)
1 stick (or a half cup) of butter (room temperature)
1-1/2 or 2 tsp. vanilla extract
5-1/2-6 cups powdered sugar (or icing or confectioners sugar)
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla extract and mix for about another 3 seconds.
Gradually add the powdered sugar in a little at a time on low speed. (The amount of powdered sugar will vary from 5-1/2-6 cups). Mix until frosting like consistency.
Spread onto the cake of your choice.
(You can also use this frosting on cupcakes)
