Fudgy cream cheese Cupcakes

Hello, everyone! I made this recipe because I wanted to thank you for supporting my blog. I love the combo of the chocolate and cream cheese . The sweet chocolate and the tangy cream cheese pair so well with each other. And the aroma you get in your kitchen is wonderful! Hope you like it!!πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Fudgy cream cheese Cupcakes recipe:


Bowl one:

1 Β 8-ounce package of cream cheese

1 egg

1/3 cup white sugar (65g)

1/8 tsp. salt

1 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips (120g)

1-1/2 cups all purpose flour (180g)

1 cup of white sugar (200g)


Bowl two:

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (30g)

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup water (240ml)

1/3 cup vegetable oil (or canola) (80ml)

1 tbs. white vinegar (15ml)

1 tsp. vanilla extract


Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius). Line two muffin tins Β with cupcake liners (or bake one batch at a time).

In a medium sized bowl, (bowl one), beat together the cream cheese, egg, sugar, and salt. Stir in the chocolate chips and set aside.

In another bowl, (bowl two), sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Add the water, vinegar, oil, and vanilla and stir until combined. (The batter will be thin).

Fill the muffin tins 1/3 of the way full with the chocolate batter. Top each with a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture.

Bake for 30-35 minutes.
