My cookies, packaged and party ready πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour (270 g)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter , softened (240 g)
3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar (135 g)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips ( I used Hershey’s) (360g)

Heat oven to 375Β°F.

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.

Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until creamy.

(Honestly I didn’t feel like hauling out my mixer so I did it by hand. Same result, so totally fine if you do at have a mixer πŸ™‚πŸ™‚).

Add eggs; beat well.

Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.

Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for Β 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.

Cool completely. ( Just so you know, if you’re serving a small crowd I suggest cutting this recipe in half because I got about 70 cookies out of this!!!!)

Vegan Substitutes

Replace the butter with vegan butter

Replace the eggs with four tbs. of sweetened condensed milk
